The truth about Kamala Harris's favorite lie
Kamala Harris is going all-in on abortion. This makes perfect sense, since she can’t run on the economy, immigration, employment, foreign policy, crime, or personality.
And one of the central pillars of her campaign's pro-abortion message has been Amber Nicole Thurman, a young woman they say “died after not receiving urgent care needed for an infection under Georgia’s Trump Abortion Ban.”
“Because of Donald Trump’s abortion bans, women are being denied care during miscarriages,” Harris said on X. “Some, like Amber Nicole Thurman, have even died.”
There’s just one problem: this isn’t true.
Tragically, Amber Thurman did die. But she died because she got an abortion, not because she was a victim of being “denied care during miscarriages.”
