The United States’ unwavering obsession with celebrity is truly bizarre. Perhaps due to a lack of institutional class-based systems or a monarchy structure, countless Americans pour their adoration upon those in our synthetic and seemingly arbitrary celebrity class. And the unelected leaders of this class of degenerate morons? Actors!

And because actors are narcissistic attention whores, they revel in the opportunity to stand on the stage of politics. While the platform is different, the game is the same: give the audience what they want.
Take Matthew McConaughey as the latest example. In response to the horrendous school shooting in Uvalde, Texas, McConaughey — who was born in Uvalde — spent two days in Washington, D.C. lobbying legislators on the subject of gun control, and speaking at a White House press briefing.
Why? Good question!
