You’re poor because the economy is so strong.

That’s effectively the argument being put forward by the Biden administration. As the country teeters on the edge of economic collapse — with inflation raging and prices soaring — President Biden and his handlers are scrambling to tell people not to believe their lying eyes.

"We see the economy in a stronger place than it's been in decades,” the White House’s resident moron, Karine Jean-Pierre, responded when asked why Biden waited months to decide who would lead the Federal Reserve.

According to the Biden administration, the “historic gains” under Biden’s leadership have put the American economy in “a better place than it has been historically.”

Compared to the Great Depression, sure. Compared to pre-COVID? Nope.

President Biden and his team are trying to pull the wool over the eyes of the American people by doing one of two things:

  1. Blame everything on COVID.

  2. Blame everything on Putin.

As a consequence, all “metrics of success” are measured using the kindest possible timeline. The conclusion that Biden’s economic recovery is “historic” is based entirely on the fact that the country voluntarily destroyed the economy during the COVID-19 pandemic. This means that even partly returning to “normal” after this voluntary handicap is removed is not the groundbreaking indication of genius Biden claims it to be.

Moreover, the conclusion that all further “challenges” are because of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine — with the White House propaganda ministry pumping out “Putin’s price hike” as fast as humanly possible — is based entirely on the assumption that everything was fine moments before Putin launched an invasion.

An invasion Biden is responsible for, by the way.
