Just in time for the general election, Abdul El-Sayed has apparently discovered his love for Judaism, Jews and everything Jewish.
Having secured the Democratic Party’s nomination for November’s Senate elections, he is now rushing to win the hearts and minds of Jewish voters in Michigan who for some unimaginable reason might be less than comfortable with an Islamo-Socialist who responded to a Muslim terrorist trying to murder Jewish preschoolers with “hurt people hurt people.”

In what seems like a delightful (and not-so-candid) video, El-Sayed was welcomed into an average Jewish home in Michigan to celebrate Rosh Hashanah. There were apples, there was honey, there was even kugel so delicious that El-Sayed — a world-renowned expert on Jewish desserts — even lauded it as “just sweet but not overpoweringly sweet.”
There was even a Hebrew blessing! How much more “Jewish” could it possibly get? Surely this proves, once and for all, that El-Sayed gets along with everyone, even Jews?
Well, as long as they’re the right kind of Jews.
What El-Sayed failed to mention was that his hosts were mother-and-daughter Missy and Elaine, who just happened to be members of the Israel-hating “Jewish Voice for Peace” that had already endorsed El-Sayed for Senate!
What a lucky break!
It must be a fortunate coincidence that of all the countless Rosh Hashanah celebrations El-Sayed could have attended, he managed to pick the home occupied by members of one of the most virulent anti-Israel organizations in the United States, which routinely and proudly partners with a wide array of equally noxious comrades — most notably Students for Justice in Palestine — to cheer on the attempted extermination of the world’s only Jewish state.
Of course, none of this was a mistake. El-Sayed chose Jews who were members of JVP for precisely the same reason that JVP exists in the first place: to use questionable labels of Jewishness — often demonstrated by dusting off yarmulkes and tallitot just in time for an anti-Israel protest — in an attempt to discredit not just the overwhelming support among Jews for Israel, but undermining the everlasting Jewish connection to Israel itself.
Because for El-Sayed and his fellow Islamo-Fascists, the only good Jews are the Jews who are willing to help push other Jews into the meat grinder.
What makes this even more absurd is that such cheap tokenism would be widely rejected were it applied to any other minority group. It’s quite literally the Jewish version of the cliche “I can’t be racist because I have Black friends!”
Imagine a hugely unlikely scenario in which a Republican was accused of being an “Islamophobe.” Now imagine that they responded to such allegations by breaking the Ramadan fast with two cherry-picked Muslims who don’t speak a word of Arabic, have never read a word of the Quran, and just happened to be Republican voters who vocally despise the Palestinian movement.
Would their critics — many of whom would be among El-Sayed’s most virulent supporters — suddenly embrace that Republican as a friend of mainstream Muslims? Of course not.
Because this game only works when Jews are involved.
