It’s no big secret that I despise politicians.

At best, they’re power-hungry narcissistic sociopaths who have managed to pull off the con of the century and convinced us that we not only need them to survive, but that they are the key to our every success and failure.

And a big part of this scam is performance art: playing the character that your adoring and applauding fans want to see. Meanwhile, they do whatever they want in the shadows, and expect us to thank them for it.

Kamala Harris is a good — and bad — example of this.
