The United States of America is the greatest country in the world. But something is also deeply wrong — all of us can feel it.
The people running our institutions don’t care about us, the media doesn’t tell us the truth, and an elite class treats ordinary hardworking Americans like they’re the problem.
This Substack community is here to say: no.
I’m Ian Haworth — a political commentator, writer, and speaker — who quit Big Tech to fight for what makes America great: its values and its people.
I didn’t grow up in America, but I always felt like I belonged here. I grew up in England, and after graduating from Oxford University, I moved to Silicon Valley to work as a programmer. Nearly a decade later, I got tired of looking around and seeing American principles under attack, history being rewritten, and Jews and Christians persecuted for their faith.
Now, my mission is to defend the values people want to destroy, and with your help, I know we can win. I’m building a community grounded in these values, and I hope you are ready to join the fight to save our great nation:
America is a great country worth defending
We should be proud to live in the United States of America and unafraid to say that it is the greatest country in the history of the world.
Truth matters more than political narratives
We are surrounded by lies. It’s time to tell the truth, no matter what.
Freedom requires responsibility
Freedom means taking responsibility for yourself, your family, and your community, not looking to a politician to solve all of your problems.
Free speech is non-negotiable
The First Amendment is the most important foundation of our civilization, and without freedom of speech, we have no freedom at all.
The Second Amendment defends the First
We have a God-given right to keep and bear arms, and it is our duty to defend ourselves and our neighbors from tyranny.
Immigration without assimilation is invasion
Immigration is an important part of the American experience, but only for people who come here legally and want to embrace American values.
Our Judeo-Christian values are under attack
The United States of America is a Christian country built on Judeo-Christian values, and it is being threatened by an alliance of the radical Left and radical Islam.
