It's the Jews, stupid

Tucker Carlson celebrates a Nazi apologist, because of course he did.

This week, Tucker Carlson hosted Darryl Cooper (a Nazi apologist, if we’re being polite) on his X/Twitter show, lauding him as someone who ”may be the best and most honest popular historian in the United States.”

The “may be” is doing Herculean-levels of heavy lifting here.

During this conversation, Winston Churchill was reinvented as the “chief villain” of World War II who was “primarily responsible” for what the war became, the Holocaust became the pesky result of classic German unpreparedness to deal with what Cooper called “prisoners of war” — lack of preparation is quintessentially un-German, but whatever — and Hitler became someone who actually wanted peace (after steamrolling through Czechoslovakia and Poland) and was actually thwarted by the war-hungry and bloodthirsty Winston Churchill.

And on Tuesday, Cooper vomited a thread of ahistorical verbal diarrhea onto X/Twitter, with the following particular gem of sheer ignorance mixed with rabid antisemitism:

Here’s a tip: if you use the phrase “acceptable solution to the Jewish problem” and you’re not quoting a Nazi, you’re the fucking problem.

But back to the main point.

As someone who is only alive because of Winston Churchill’s refusal to capitulate to the greatest evil the world had seen, this stuff pissed me off a tad, as I explained on social media.

And responding to the silence among many conservatives at the bizarre embrace of Nazi-esque (who am I kidding, full-on Nazi) propaganda, I called them attention-hungry “whores,” because that is precisely what they are: willing to sell out their entire supposed value set in exchange for clicks and attention.

Candace Owens, in classic Candace Owens fashion, had this to add.

But then there were the responses from others who weren’t increasingly-unhinged pseudo-intellectual loon-bags dressed in my grandmother’s sofa.

And their primary concern? The fact that I’m Jewish!

But this obsession over Jewishness is why people like Tucker Carlson, Darryl Cooper and the people they entrap with their woke reinvention of reality even care in the first place.

Because the woke Right and the woke Left have found something they agree on: they think Jews are just terrible.
